About Me.
My Design Journey.
I’m Shane, a Graphic Designer based in the North East of England, that focuses on brand related design.
Education
My first proper education in a design related field was at College level, I studied at New College Durham for 5 years, where I eventually graduated with a Bachelor’s degree with a 2nd Class Honours.
Joining The Industry
After graduating in June 2023, I secured my first professional position in the following months. My first role was a Marketing Designer for Contego, one of the UK’s largest Pest Control & Environmental Services providers. Just under a year later my journey lead me to Innovixx, a Software Development company, where I find myself working on a wide range of creative briefs for a diverse clientele.
Some Of My Interests.
Graphic Design
The obvious one really, the best jobs are the ones that feel like hobbies, I have a particular interest in brand design.
Football
Football took over my life as a kid, and still to this day there’s not much I love more than travelling the country to watch my favourite teams.
Adventuring
As a Scout Leader, I love spending time outdoors when I get the chance - something that’s much needed when having an office-based role.
